Argotec Appoints Bruce Wilby President

GREENFIELD, Massachusetts - The Board of Directors of Argotec, Inc., of Greenfield , Massachusetts , announces the appointment of Bruce Wilby as company president. Mr. Wilby has served as chief operating officer since joining the firm in 2001 and retains that office. All levels of management report to him. Company founders Richard Barnes and Steven Wolkenbreit continue to share the offices of Chairman and CEO. The Argotec Board of Directors feels Mr. Wilby's experience in all phases of the urethane film business makes him the ideal individual to lead the company in its current expansion.

Mr. Wilby was educated in the Easthampton Public School System and at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst . He joined the former J. P. Stevens & Co., Inc. in 1973 and worked his way through the management ranks, eventually serving eight years as president of JPS Elastomerics Corp. Bruce currently resides in Easthampton and is a member of the School Committee.

Argotec, Inc. is an extruder of precision, custom-engineered, high-performance polyurethane film and sheet. The company sells globally to the international specialty films market.
